- Tourism and leisure (up to 6 months)
- Business meetings (up to 6 months)
- Short-term study (up to 6 months)
- Transit through the UK
How to Apply
The ETA application process is straightforward:
- Complete the online application form
- Provide passport details and travel information
- Pay the application fee
- Receive your ETA electronically (typically within 72 hours)
Validity and Duration
- Each ETA is valid for multiple entries over 2 years
- Each stay can be up to 6 months
- The ETA is linked to your passport

- An ETA does not guarantee entry; border officials make final decisions
